1.1 Tổng quan về doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ
1.1.1 Khái niệm doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ
Muốn biết doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ là gì trước hết ta cần tìm hiểu thế nào là doanh nghiệp. Theo luật doanh nghiệp năm 2005: “Doanh nghiệp là một tổ chức kinh tế có tên riêng, có tài sản riêng, có trụ sở ổn định được đăng ký kinh doanh theo quy định của pháp luật nhằm mục đích thực hiện các hoạt động kinh doanh.”
1.1.2 Phân loại doanh nghiệp
Các loại doanh nghiệp trong nền kinh tế thị trường rất đa dạng và phong phú, trong đó nếu phân loại dựa theo quy mô có thể chia doanh nghiệp thành doanh nghiệp lớn và DNNVV.
Tại Việt Nam, theo nghị định về trợ giúp phát triển DNNVV số 56/2009/NĐ-CP thay thế cho nghị định số 90/2011/NĐ-CP, trong đó điều 3 của nghị định này đã định nghĩa DNNVV như sau: “DNNVV là cơ sở kinh doanh đã đăng ký kinh doanh theo quy định pháp luật, được chia thành ba cấp: siêu nhỏ, nhỏ, vừa theo quy mô tổng nguồn vốn (tổng nguồn vốn tương đương tổng tài sản được xác định trong bảng cân đối kế toán của doanh nghiệp) hoặc số lao động bình quân năm trong đó tổng nguồn vốn là tiêu chí ưu tiên”
• Phân loại theo tiếp cận định lượng
Việc phân loại này thường được căn cứ vào các tiêu thức như sô lượng động, vốn hay tài sản, doanh thu, lợi nhuận để phân loại. Đa số các quốc gia đều sử dụng tiêu thức số số lao động.

Enterprise 1.1.2 Classification
