Pistones: Se añaden los pistones normales y los pistones pegajosos.
Bloque observador: Se trata de un bloque que se encarga de detectar cambios de estado en los bloques contiguos.

Caballos: Se añaden los caballos al juego, con todas sus variantes, incluso los caballos esqueleto.
Husk o Pusilánime: Se generará esta variante de zombie en los desiertos.
Stray o Errante: Esta variante de esqueleto se generará en los biomas nevados.

Aldeas en nuevos biomas: Ahora también se generarán aldeas en los biomas de Taiga y Savana.
Aldeas zombie: Es una variante de aldea que simula haber sido invadida por zombies.
Minecraft 0.15.0 – Nuevos objetos

Nuevos huevos en modo creativo: se añaden huevos para spwnear criaturas del juego, como las mulas, caballos zombie, caballos esqueleto y burros.
Carne de cordero: Ahora al eliminar a una oveja, además de lana, obtendremos carne de cordero.
Flechas con efectos de poción: Podremos añadir efectos de poción a las flechas utilizando los calderos y las pociones.
Armaduras de cuero para caballos: Ahora podremos crear una armadura de cuero, que podremos tintar, con los tintes del juego, utilizando los calderos.
Cargas ígneas: Se añade este objeto al juego.
Minecraft 0.15.0 – Nuevas funcionalidades

Montar cerdos: ya se pueden montar cerdos utilizando una silla de montar y una caña de pescar con zanahoria.
Cross-platform: Permite compartir un servidor Realms con usuarios que juegan a Minecraft Pocket Edition, tanto en móvil, como en tableta, como en la edición Win 10, en Minecraft VR o en consolas.
Soporte para paquetes de texturas: Ahora se podrán cargar paquetes de texturas a través de una nueva carpeta en nuestra instalación de Minecraft PE, llamada “resource_packs”.
Nueva interfaz gráfica: el diseño ha sido renovado, equiparándolo entre la versión Pocket y la versión para Win 10, en algunos aspectos, pero no en todos.
Logros de Xbox Live: tanto en iOS, como en Android.
Multijugador con amigos de Xbox Live.
