Sự tồn tại của tổ chức phi lợi nhuận LIN có mối liên quan chặt chẽ với nền kinh tế Việt Nam. Việt Nam đang trong giai đoạn phục hồi kinh tế, tuy quá trình này chưa ổn định nhưng vẫn có dấu hiệu tăng trưởng. Các công ty ngày càng cạnh tranh gay gắt để dẫn đầu về doanh thu, lợi nhuận và danh tiếng của mình. Vì vậy, LIN có khá nhiều đối tác ở khu vực miền Nam là các công ty, tổ chức nổi tiếng như: Ngân hàng Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, MELCHERS Việt Nam, Brand Maker… Điều nảy ảnh hưởng không nhỏ đến quá trình HRM của LIN. Ban đầu, LIN sẽ tuyển dụng các ứng cử viên dựa trên CV của họ. Các ứng cử viên có thể theo dõi và cập nhật thông tin tuyển dụng thông qua Facebook. Vị trí mà LIN thường tập trung tuyển là tình nguyện viên chuyên môn. Như đã nói, LIN liên kết nhiều với các tập đoàn lớn- nhiều chuyên ngành, vì vậy tình nguyện viên sẽ được đòi hỏi có những kiến thức và kỹ năng cơ bản liên quan đến từng ngành nghề, lĩnh vực khác nhau.
Ví dụ năm 2014 và 2015 LIN liên tục tổ chức sự kiện Narrow the Gap. Sự kiện này được tổ chức nhằm thu hút tài trợ từ các tổ chức, công ty để trao tiền cho những dự án liên quan đến con người và xã hội. Tình nguyện viên hoặc các thực tập sinh muốn tham gia làm việc cho dự án này sẽ phải nộp CV và chờ lịch phỏng vấn. Trong vòng phỏng vấn, các thí sinh sẽ được trắc nghiệm sự hiểu biết về thực trạng xã hổi, kinh tế hiện tại. Các thí sinh đủ điều kiện sẽ được tuyển dụng và làm việc trong môi trường chuyên nghiệp. Một số thí sinh được giữ lại và được giới thiệu cho các tập đoàn.
Mặt khác, kinh tế hiện nay đang rơi vào trạng thái bão hoà. Do một số sinh viên sau khi tốt nghiệp đi làm và cảm thấy không thoả mãn với công việc. Kinh tế bị gói gọn trong một số nhóm ngành chính như: công nghệ thông tin, thực phẩm, máy móc thiết bị, dầu khí… Nắm được tình hình đó, quá trình HRM của LIN tập trung vào chuyên môn thật sự của thí sinh. Nói cách khác, LIN sẽ giúp bạn làm việc trong môi trường mà bạn có niềm đam mê về nó.
