本測試之目的為評估所生產「牙齒自鑽型骨釘」力學性質。測試項目為(1)靜態彎曲測試以及(2)轉入扭力測試。靜態彎曲測試由於目前沒有適用之規範，故參考臨床上之受力模式自行設計測試方法；轉入扭力測試參考規範ASTM F543-02。
