Lần đầu thì thật ra chỉ biết ai thắng, ai thua thôi, chứ không hiểu nhiều, bởi vì lúc bấy giờ khả năng tiếng Anh còn tệ lắm, nên không hiểu người ta bàn luận như thế nào. Qua lần bầu cử TT Mỹ năm 2016 này, thì phải nói rằng, tôi chưa bao giờ thấy 1 cuộc tranh cử TT Mỹ nào mà có quá nhiều ồn ào và bàn cãi. Ồn ào và bàn cãi không những chỉ xảy ra ở Mỹ, mà gần như nó lôi kéo sự thu hút dân chúng của nhiều quốc gia khác trên thế giới cao hơn những lần trước đây, mà một vài tờ báo ở Anh đã gọi là “cuộc bầu cử ồn ào và không thanh tao nhất trong lịch sử bầu cử Tổng Thống Mỹ.”
