Hiện tại, tại Việt Nam, các tổ chức phi lợi nhuận đang phát triển mạnh. Một số tổ chức có uy tín và nổi tiếng như: Quỹ Quốc tế Bảo vệ Thiên nhiên(wwf), Quỹ Mozilla, CEP, Happy House Vietnam Foundation…
Chính vì vậy, trước khi lên kế hoạch cho dự án mới, LIN luôn khảo sát tình hình hiện tại của các tổ chức phi lợi nhuận khác. Có thể, LIN sẽ chú ý đến những dự án của các tổ chức đang trong quá trình thực hiện. Khi có ý tưởng về dự án, LIN sẽ tiến hành đến việc tìm nguồn nhân lực cho dự án. Ví dụ năm 2016, sau khi xem xét tình hình các tổ chức phi lợi nhuận, LIN đưa ra dự án “ Ngày Cho Đi”. Theo kế hoạch, dự án này sẽ được thực hiện vào năm 2016. Bộ phận HRM cho dự án này sẽ được tuyển chọn theo cấu trúc sau: 10% nhân viên đang làm hiện tại cho LIN, 70% tình nguyện viên thông qua Facebook và 20% thực tập sinh được giới thiệu bởi nhân viên trong LIN. LIN nhìn thấy trước được tầm quan trọng của việc cung cấp lương thực, thực phẩm cho xa hội. Đây là một đề tài khá mới và chưa được phát triển rộng rãi ở miền Nam. Quy trình tuyển nhân sự tương đối giống với cách mà LIN vẫn thường làm. Tuy nhiên, yêu cầu về người ứng tuyển sẽ khác: về lĩnh vực hiểu biết sẽ liên quan cơ bản đến ‘’thực phẩm’’. Có một điểm mà các thí sinh sẽ cần lưu ý, là dù bạn làm tình nguyện viên hay thực tập sinh tại LIN, thì cũng sẽ không được trả lương.
