Today I want to tell you about my experience when I applied for a
job last week. Well, you know, I am a student of K17 … class in the
Design Faculty at Hanoi Open University. I really want to become a
designer. So last week, I applied for a job as a designer in an Event
Planning company. Yesterday morning, I had an interview with that
company. It was held at 8 a.m. at the company office so I had to be
there at 7.30 a.m. I was very worried before the interview. There
were a lot of applicants there. The Director of Human Resources
interviewed me. He asked me many questions. He asked me to
describe myself, talked something about my daily life, what I studied
at my university, why I chose to apply that job. Well, luckily, I
answered all the questions quite good. And at the end of the
interview, he said that I got that job. It was quite wonderful!

Describe a birthday party you have had or you have been to. You
should say: Whose birthday party it was, How old that person was,

Today, I would like to talk about a birthday celebration that I
attended 2 days ago. It was one of my friends' birthday who turned
25 that day. Her name is … She invited almost all of her close friends
and we attended the birthday celebration together. The party was
celebrated at my friend's house at 7 p.m. at 18 Tam Trinh Street. I
and my friend went there together and bought a present for her. After
reaching there, … and her parents warmly welcomed us. She
introduced us to her relatives. There was a huge birthday cake. 25
candles of different colors were around the cake.
We sang the birthday song when she cut the cake. We congratulated
her and wished her a prosperous life ahead. Then we ate cake and
had a good feast with a lot of things, such as: steaks, beef, grilled
seafood, chips and fresh fruit. The foods were delicious and good.
Then after an I left the party and came home. That was the wonderful

Today I would like to talk about a person I think that he is very
successful. He is my father. I think he has been a major influence in
my life. My father is always a good role model for me when I grow
up. He is hard-working, patient and understanding. He is also got a
good sense of humor and seems to get on well with everybody. I
admire him because I think he brought me and my sisters up well. He
is quite strict but always fair, and he is always the person can give
me advice when I have trouble. I think my father set a good
example by working hard and having a positive outlook on life. I
remember that he used to leave for work early and come home quite
late, but he always made time for me and my sisters. As for me, he is
the best successful person in the world.

Describe a trip you are planning to go on for your holiday. You

Today I would like to talk about my plan for my next summer
vacation. Last week, my friends asked me if we are going for a
holiday this year. After thinking about it for some time, we have
decided to travel to Phu Quoc island for a holiday because it is the
place we have never visited before.
The plan is, we will go there for a week by plane. We will rent
motorbikes and drive them around and discover this beautiful place.
There are a lot of famous destinations in Phu Quoc, such as: Primary
Forest in Northern of Phu Quoc island, Dinh Cậu night market…
And of course, we will go to many beautiful beaches here to enjoy
water activities and eat a lot of great seafood 
We will make a detailed plan to make this holiday a success. We

Today I want to talk about my house I am living in. now, I am living
in a house with a really big backyard and 5 bedrooms. It is very
spacious and we get a lot of sunlight so it gets quite hot in the
summer. It is at 18 Tam Trinh Street. It is a wonderful neighborhood
and all my neighbors are quite friendly. I live at the university
dormitory with 3 other roommates. Because we are girls, we room is
always kept nice and tidy, we usually clean it at least once a
week.vMy room is well decorated with a lot of family photos
hanging on the wall.
