1. Sau đó 5 lá bài chung được chia làm 3 đợt, đợt đầu 3 lá bài, mỗi đợt sau 1 lá bài. Ở mỗi đợt chia bài này, người chơi có quyền đặt cược nên được gọi là một vòng tố. Như vậy tính cả vòng đầu tiên, khi chỉ mới chia 2 lá bài cho từng người chơi, tổng cộng sẽ có 4 vòng tố.
3. Vòng tố:
• Các thao tác trong một vòng tố:
+ Tố: người chơi đặt cược số tiền lớn hơn 1 cược và nhỏ hơn giới hạn tố tùy chủ phòng quy định.
+ Theo: người chơi chấp nhận đặt cược số tiền bằng với người tố.
+ Xem: khi trước đó chưa có ai tố, người chơi được phép xem bài để không phải bỏ thêm tiền cược mà vẫn có thể tiếp tục ván chơi.

• Mỗi vòng tố sẽ kết thúc khi số tiền cược đã bỏ ra của tất cả người chơi còn lại ( chưa úp bỏ ) bằng nhau hoặc là người đó đã bỏ ra hết số tiền mà mình có.
• Vòng tố thứ nhất bắt đầu ngay sau khi mỗi người chơi được chia 2 lá bài.
• Vòng tố thứ hai bắt đầu sau khi 3 lá bài chung được chia.
• Vòng tố thứ ba bắt đầu sau khi lá bài chung thứ 4 được chia.
• Vòng tố cuối cùng, bắt đầu sau khi bài chung đã được chia đủ 5 lá bài.
