“ASEAN - 48 NĂM HÒA BÌNH VÀ PHÁT TRIỂN”

Chặng đường 48 năm qua kể từ khi thành lập (08/8/1967) đã đánh dấu những bước phát triển lớn của ASEAN. Gần nửa thế kỷ không ngừng nỗ lực đẩy mạnh hợp tác và tăng cường liên kết, ASEAN đã trở thành một thực thể chính trị-kinh tế quan trọng, hạt nhân tích cực đóng góp cho hòa bình, ổn định, hợp tác và liên kết ở khu vực Ðông Á và châu Á-Thái Bình Dương. Ðược đánh giá là một trong những tổ chức khu vực thành công nhất trên thế giới, câu chuyện mà ASEAN đã viết nên cũng chính là bài học lịch sử của khu vực Ðông - Nam Á, nơi các quốc gia đã cùng nhau vượt qua các rào cản, khác biệt và chia rẽ của quá khứ, tạo dựng một nền tảng hợp tác vững chắc và toàn diện ở khu vực.
Phát biểu tại Lễ kỷ niệm 48 năm thành lập Hiệp hội các quốc gia Đông - Nam Á (ASEAN) diễn ra trọng thể vào sáng 10/8/2015 tại Trụ sở Ban Thư ký ASEAN, Jakarta, Indonesia, Tổng thư ký ASEAN Lê Lương Minh đã khẳng định: “Sau 48 năm, ASEAN đang xây dựng Tầm nhìn sau 2015, ASEAN cam kết kiến tạo một Cộng đồng ASEAN hướng tới người dân, lấy người dân làm trung tâm, và dựa trên các nguyên tắc luật pháp - nơi mà mọi người dân, các nhà đầu tư và mọi lĩnh vực của xã hội có thể đóng góp và hưởng thụ các lợi ích từ một Cộng đồng hội nhập và kết nối hơn dựa trên sự hợp tác tăng cường ở ba trụ cột chính trị-an ninh, kinh tế và xã hội-văn hoá vì sự phát triển bền vững, bình đẳng và toàn diện…”. 20 năm kể từ khi chính thức trở thành thành viên thứ 7 trong cộng đồng các nước ASEAN năm 1995, với phương châm “Việt Nam muốn là bạn, là đối tác tin cậy, là thành viên có trách nhiệm của tất cả các nước trong cộng đồng quốc tế, phấn đấu vì hòa bình, độc lập và phát triển”, Việt Nam đã tỏ rõ tiêu chí của mình: luôn luôn theo đuổi nguyên tắc bình đẳng cùng có lợi, không can thiệp vào công việc nội bộ nước khác, mở rộng quan hệ hữu nghị và hợp tác, góp phần tích cực vào cuộc đấu tranh chung của nhân loại vì cộng đồng ASEAN hòa bình, thịnh vượng, ngày càng liên kết chặt chẽ, thống nhất bảo đảm an ninh và hợp tác cùng phát triển, sẵn sàng hợp tác với các quốc gia khác nhằm giải quyết các vấn đề phức tạp ở Đông Nam Á, thông qua các biện pháp hòa bình. Không nằm ngoài dòng chảy phát triển của Hiệp hội, Việt Nam đã nhanh chóng hội nhập, tham gia sâu rộng vào tất cả các lĩnh vực hợp tác của ASEAN và có những đóng góp tích cực trong việc duy trì đoàn kết nội khối, tăng cường hợp tác giữa các nước thành viên, cũng như giữa ASEAN với các đối tác bên ngoài, góp phần không nhỏ vào sự phát triển và thành công chung của cộng đồng ASEAN ngày hôm nay.
Với những mục đích và ý nghĩa đó, để thiết thực chào mừng 48 năm ngày thành lập Hiệp hội các quốc gia Đông Nam Á ASEAN và 20 năm Việt Nam gia nhập tổ chức này, Liên hiệp các tổ chức hữu nghị thành phố Hà Nội (Liên hiệp) phối hợp với Đại sứ quán các nước ASEAN tại Việt Nam tổ chức chương trình Triển lãm ảnh “ASEAN - 48 năm Hoà bình và Phát triển”. Thông qua triển lãm, Ban Tổ chức muốn đem đến hình ảnh thịnh vượng của các quốc gia kể từ khi tham gia vào cộng đồng chung. Đó là nét đẹp văn hoá đặc trưng của đất nước Thái Lan, Malaysia, của nước bạn Lào, Campuchia; sự thịnh vượng và giàu mạnh của Singapore, sự hiền hoà của Brunei, của đất nước Phật giáo Myanmar hay những thành tựu vượt bậc của Indonesia và Philiphines sau khi gia nhập ASEAN tới tất cả người dân tại Thủ đô Hà Nội cũng như những bước tiến của Việt Nam trong suốt 20 năm qua, thể hiện niềm tin về một cộng đồng ASEAN hòa bình, thịnh vượng có vị thế lớn đang ở phía trước.
Triển lãm ảnh “ASEAN - 48 năm Hoà bình và Phát triển” sẽ được khai mạc vào ngày 08/9/2015 với sự tham gia của đại diện các Hội hữu nghị và tổ chức thành viên của Liên hiệp, các Đại sứ quán tại Hà Nội, và nhiều tổ chức quốc tế khác tại trụ sở mới cơ quan Liên hiệp các tổ chức hữu nghị thành phố Hà Nội - 15A Lý Thường Kiệt - Hoàn Kiếm - Hà Nội và kéo dài trong vòng 01 tuần, tới ngày 15/9/2015./.
