Hôm nay, mình nhận được rất nhiều comment thông báo về việc 1&1 tự dưng rút tiền nên đã dành nguyên cả buổi chiều để mò mẫm vấn đề này.

Ngay trong bài viết giới thiệu 1&1 lần đầu tiên trên Canh Me, mình đã thông báo về việc đăng ký tên miền xong bạn sẽ không bị trừ tiền ngay. Rất nhiều người mình hỏi cũng gặp chung tình trạng này, nó phổ biến đến mức có người tưởng rằng đăng ký tên miền ở 1&1 là Free.

Tất nhiên không phải vậy. Không có bữa trưa nào miễn phí cả!

Mình đã dành nhiều giờ tìm hiểu trên mạng về vấn đề không bị trừ tiền sau khi đăng ký domain ở 1&1 nhưng không thấy bất kỳ thông tin gì cả. Như vậy, có vẻ do hệ thống của 1&1 mới mở cửa cho phép Việt Nam đăng ký, do đó quá trình thanh toán chưa hoàn thiện gây nên sự cố kia.

Đến bây giờ 1&1 mới hoàn thiện xong nên bắt đầu rút tiền hàng loạt để thanh toán cho hóa đơn cách đây 2, 3 tháng khiến nhiều người bất ngờ.

Nếu trước đây bạn đăng ký tên miền chưa thanh toán và giờ bị thu tiền, đó là điều hiển nhiên rồi.

Còn có một trường hợp khác nữa xảy ra, đó là bạn đã từng đăng ký (hoặc kích hoạt) một số dịch vụ dùng thử ở 1&1 cùng với domain, nhưng không nhớ, giờ thấy hóa đơn hàng triệu đồng mới ngã ngửa ra tìm hiểu. Lấy ví dụ hóa đơn này.

Toàn bộ số tiền phải thanh toán là 44.85$ cho dịch vụ 1&1 Mail Business Mailbox trong 3 tháng mà chủ tài khoản này không hề dùng đến.

Khi click vào link My Invoices ở cột bên trái, bạn sẽ thấy thông tin chi phí các dịch vụ đang đăng ký ở 1&1:

Xác định được vấn đề rõ ràng rồi, giờ làm sao để hủy được dịch vụ kia?

Trong quá trình tìm hiểu, mình đã phát hiện ra cách để hủy dịch vụ Mail Business và các dịch vụ khác ở 1&1. Không biết do 1&1 cố tình dấu chức năng này đi, hay do Control Panel của 1&1 khó sử dụng mà mình tốn rất nhiều thời gian mới tìm được cách này.

Hướng dẫn hủy dịch vụ ở 1&1

1. Truy cập https://contract.1and1.com và đăng nhập vào tài khoản.

2. Click vào contract của bạn. Như ở trên, email gắn liền với domain.

3. Do mình chỉ hủy email, không hủy domain nên sẽ click vào Individual domains/additional items, nhấn Next

4. Click chọn đám 1&1 Mail Business Mailbox rồi nhấn Next

Trong phần này mình có nhấn thử vào domain thì thấy một số lựa chọn xuất hiện:

Change of provider
End domain contract
Turn off auto-renewal
Turn off auto-renewal and unlock
Chưa rõ 4 option này sẽ có tác dụng gì nên mình cứ note tạm ra đây, biết đâu lúc nào sẽ cần đến.

5. Lựa chọn lí do hủy rồi nhấn Next

6. Xác nhận lại thông tin một lần nữa rồi nhấn Next để hoàn tất

7. Bạn cần phải vào email để xác nhận một lần nữa, thế là xong.

Sau khi hoàn tất việc cancel, tiếp theo bạn hãy liên hệ email với 1&1 qua địa chỉ [e-mail], bảo không nhớ đã kích hoạt dịch vụ Mail Business và chưa từng sử dụng bao giờ. Nhờ họ giúp đỡ hủy invoice đã tạo đi xem có được không?

Mình cũng nhận được thông tin về việc hệ thống 1&1 bị lỗi, ngay khi mua domain đã thanh toán rồi mà về sau vẫn bị 1&1 rút tiền. Nếu bạn dùng PayPal thì hãy hủy thanh toán tự động, đồng thời liên hệ với 1&1 để thông báo cho họ biết và kiểm tra lại.
